An immersive experience

An immersive experience—this is the word that best captures the art workshop with artist Alex and our young children. From the youngest at 3 years old to the eldest at 5, they were captivated by art and its magic wand, the paintbrush. On the paper, it left not just simple colored marks, but a story, an expression of emotions. Each child learned to carry the color from brush to paper, listening to Alex’s narrative voice, and then used their hands, even plastic balls, to convey feelings in all shapes. They brought their art to life, giving it meaning! Their creations spoke!

A Wonderful Opportunity

Thank you, Alex, for this wonderful opportunity—the children loved the experience, and the activity engaged everyone, whether they were 3, 4, or 5 years old. Often, after listening to a story in an illustrated book, the children ask, "Who drew this?" So, being able to experience firsthand and discover the artist behind a drawing was exciting and captivating, thanks to the power of color.

The emotions and impressions left on these young artists, visible in their later drawings and stories, showed us how much this encounter was valued and absorbed. Now, the children paint and create canvases and stories tailored to their imaginations. This spark will take us on a journey far into the world of images and books.

The children were thrilled

What can I say… the children were thrilled, their eyes lit with happiness as they participated. Their colorful aprons, I believe, reflected just how much excitement and engagement they felt throughout the activity.

Breathless

An exhibition that left me breathless!! So much dark love portrayed in the exhibited paintings, told through aspects seen from a dramatic perspective but with the passage of events and the inner growth of the characters reflected in the artwork. Thanks to Alex, I relived the drama... but at the same time, I experienced the work from another point of view!
